When staffing levels allow, 交通部门 Officers are assigned to both day and evening shifts with varied days off.  交通部门 Officers are responsible for the investigation of all motor vehicle accidents, speed and traffic control enforcement, 速度的调查, and deployment of the department's Traffic Radar trailer.  交通部门 Officers are highly trained in Accident Investigation, Accident Reconstruction, and the use of Speed Measuring Devices such as LIDAR and RADAR.  交通部门 officers may use unmarked cruisers, slick-top cruisers, and police motorcycles to perform their duties.
